The very beginning of the year always holds so much promise, dread, hopefulness and a sense of
the unknown for all of us. What will the year bring? Those next 365 days are like a container for
our experiences. They will hold a record of what happens to us and our loved ones. They will
hold what happens in the bigger, outer world. So much to reflect upon in January. All we can do
really is stop, take a breath and send out thoughts and prayers for good things, for healing when
things go not so well, for comfort and good health for ourselves and loved ones. I don’t think I
am wrong to believe this is what nearly all of us do. We send out powerful thought forms in
January! May all the good thoughts and prayers meet up in the space of manifestation so that
your greatest dreams come true…
My dream of writing a book is now manifesting. Wow, it is something I thought of for many
years. But then in 2023 it was time to write. In 2024 it is time to publish. This past year was
filled with inner reflections, memories and learning how to put that on a page. It just was a task
that needed to be done. Now the book is at the Atmosphere designers. They are working on the
interior layout. Soon it will be returned to me to see how it will be presented to the readers. It
will be up to me to approve it before the next stage of preparing for printing, a release date and a
marketing strategy.
Who will my readers be? That is one thing I am reflecting on this January. I hope it will be you
and you will share it with others.. I hope that sharing the amazing story of my miracle daughter,
the many challenges we met as a family and my quest for meaning will have value for you. I
hope that this book will shed light on what it is like to raise a child who has devastating disease
and how it haunts the entire family. But not only those hard parts, also how
“life is chronically miraculous even with this chronically devastating disease.”
